Monsanto Technology Agreement

NEW WEB SITES:
Two web sites for information from the University of Kentucky and Graves County can be found on the front page. Plus the newest web site for local weather conditions from the Whitford's Farm near Pryorsburg.
Syngenta Fungicide Rebate Program:
Syngenta is offering early pay rebate program on the Quadris and Quilt fungicides. The next discount period ends April 30th and is offering $75 off/gal. on Quadris and $35 off/gal. on Quilt. These are excellent saving for using proven yield enhancing and plant health protectant products.
Soybean Insects:
With hot and dry weather we are seeing an increase in insect activity. The main ones are stink bugs and Corn Ear Worms (also called Boll Worms) as well as Army Worms. All of these insects are pod feeders and can be very destructive to our pod development. This is the time of year that we become complacent in our scouting of our fields, so we need to schedule a time to sweep our fields to check for threshold levels. We must protect the value of the crop that is in the field. Call us to schedule a time to sweep your fields to see what we have out there.
Mayfield Grain Corn Yield Contest
This is the time of year to start to decide which field you would like to enter in the contest. The rules are the same as last year. With the extreme weather that we have had in the Graves County and the surrounding area this year everyone will have a chance at competing for the awards. We look forward to seeing how varieties perform in our environments for this year conditions.
If you have any questions, comments or complaints please feel free to call us at anytime.
